It's important to make sure that the contents of your web pages are always kept fresh and up-to-date. Every site, even the smallest one needs a plan of keeping it up-to-date. How often you want to update your website however depends on your own circumstances. For a small online tutoring business, you want only want to update your website only when you have new projects or promotions. For larger websites offering tutoring services to hundreds of students, you may want to update your courses and any special offers as soon as they become available. If you're going to do a lot of updates, make sure that you don't take down your old web pages completely. Some websites put up a page that reads: "Our web pages are currently under construction, please check back later for further updates." From the perspective of a visitor or a supporter, seeing this message is very annoying and it makes your business appear very unprofessional. Instead, like a newspaper company that is committed to a deadline, apply the same principle to your website updates.
